Middletown
 Known for its stability and tradition, the City of Middletown lies in the northeast corner of Butler County. During its founding over 200 years ago, Middletown was defined by the Miami-Erie Canal; present-day Middletown has seen a great deal of change since the canal days. The city now has its own branch of Miami University and plays host to wonderful annual events and festivals such as the MidFirst Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival, Middfest International, and Light Up Middletown. Also located in the heart of downtown Middletown is the BeauVerre/Riordan Studio, which is the oldest continually operating stained glass studio in the country.
